The Art Program - Shalom House

Shalom House began in 1972 with the belief that there had to be a safe, caring place where people with mental illness could live in our community. Since then, the Foundation has expanded to cover an array of mental health services and housing options.

The mission of the Shalom House Art Program is to encourage self-expression through the visual arts for people living with psychiatric disabilities. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where participants can freely explore and express ideas, learn new skills and discover their strengths and abilities. An expansion of the Gallery's sales model has been spearheaded by Andrew Korda with a goal of bringing salable Art to businesses on rotation.

Please browse the Art Gallery which features some of the works currently on display.

Naval Aviation Museum - Hall of Recognition

"Hats off to all of you who flew to protect our freedom. Thank You for your service"

-Jonathan Korda, Nephew of David and Jeannie Webb

At the bequest of the estate of Lieutenant David A. Webb and his wife Jean Ann Webb, a new exhibit at the National Aviation Museum was commissioned by Jonathan and Janice Korda. The Hall of Recognition honors the contributions of thousands of individuals and organizations who have made the museum possible. A special dedication honors the VA-52, Knight Riders: an attack squadron of the U.S Navy.
